Tuning Forks

. HISTORY .

A tuning fork is an acoustic resonator

that have been invented around 1700’s, by John Shor.

Heinrich Wilhelm Dove, was the first to take this one step deeper (1803-1879.) Investigating the effect of low-frequency current on the brain, he came to the conclusion that it is possible to direct and force the brain to accept different frequencies in both ears while simultaneously emitting a third.

The 3rd frequency is the difference between the previous two, which is known as "phantom sound" or binaural tone.

Dr. John Beaulieu, who spent hours in a soundproof chamber listening to the sounds of his body, is one of many who have studied its benefits for the human body. He came to the conclusion that the nervous system does, in fact, have a tone or hum to it, and that pitch varies under stress or rest.

With the tuning forks, he was able to tune his body and therefore his neurological system.

. TECHNIQUES .

1.Vibrational

With the use of 1 or 2 weighted Tuning forks/Body tuner, applied directly and synchronically on various pressure points all over the body. Vibrations are felt in the body, unlocking various blocages.

2.Concerto

Phonic/Brain tuner, Tuning forks, can be played as many as 5 in one hand or in countless numbers positioned onto a wooden base.

3.Binaural

Two Tuning forks(Brain tuner or Body tuner) of different frequencies, each one held closely next to each ears.

Example :

Left ear=256Hz

Right ear=259Hz

259-256=3Hz

The brain will then produce 3Hz,Which is the difference in frequency between the two Tuning forks.
